This Privacy Notice applies to the public institutional website at miralucis.ai.
Miralucis is an independent research environment. This notice applies only to the public website and its current contact channel. It does not apply to any future product, user account, research-participant system, external testing environment, or other service that may later be developed.

Information We May Receive
The current public website does not provide user accounts, public uploads, web forms, or a research-participant intake system.
If you contact Miralucis by email, we may receive the information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, organisation or project information, and the contents of your message.
Technical information may also be processed as necessary to deliver, maintain, and secure the website, including network or device information such as an IP address.
How Information Is Used
Personal data received through the current public contact channel may be used to:
- receive, assess, and respond to relevant inquiries;
- administer research, publication, institutional, or collaboration-related correspondence;
- maintain the security and technical operation of the public website;
- comply with applicable legal obligations where necessary.
Contact messages are not automatically treated as research data, and sending a message does not make the sender a research participant.
Where applicable, ordinary correspondence may be processed on the basis of legitimate interests in receiving and responding to relevant communications. Where communication relates to a possible agreement or collaboration, processing may also be necessary to take steps at the sender’s request before entering into an agreement. Other legal bases may apply where required by law.
Hosting and Service Providers
The public website is hosted through OpenAI Sites. OpenAI and infrastructure providers acting in connection with the hosting, delivery, maintenance, or security of the website may process technical information necessary to provide those functions.
Email and other technical service providers may process information where necessary to deliver and store correspondence.
The hosting environment should not be assumed to operate from a single fixed country or data-residency location.
Cookies, Security, and Site Analytics
Miralucis does not currently deploy its own advertising, behavioural-tracking, or marketing-analytics technologies on this public website.
The hosting and security infrastructure may use technologies necessary to deliver and protect the site. Current runtime inspection has observed Cloudflare security and bot-management infrastructure, including a security-oriented cookie.
The hosting platform may also provide aggregate site-traffic information at the infrastructure level. Miralucis does not currently deploy a separate client-side analytics system.
If Miralucis later introduces non-essential analytics, advertising, behavioural tracking, or similar technologies, this notice will be reviewed and any legally required consent controls will be introduced before those technologies are used.
Retention
Correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to address the relevant communication, maintain appropriate institutional records, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
If a communication later becomes part of a formal collaboration, research-participation process, product relationship, or other separate activity, additional terms or privacy information may apply.
Your Rights
Depending on the law that applies to you and the processing involved, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and complaints to an applicable data-protection authority.
